Week 3 of T25

So I just finished up Week 3 of T25. I am still having good results, I am trying to stay on track and eat right,I watch what I am eating all the time. I try to keep sweets and goodies to a minimum. This week I only missed 1 day of workout. Well 2 actually but I made the 2nd one up, so I doubled up on Thursday and then again on Friday as per the schedule. I am seeing the changes especially in how my clothes are fitting me. I feel so much better in them and things that were tight not that long ago are getting much looser. The pounds lost are slowing down but then I know because last weekend I ate a lot of bad stuff so I am sure that is the problem. Although I did eat pretty healthy all week long. So here are my updated stats. I have lost 4.9lbs since the start of T25 and 11.5inches overall.

So official current stats are:

T25 Week 1 down

So by Thursday morning last week I had lost 3.5lbs but then I gained because I ate normal food. Yeah this is my new struggle, if I do not live on salad, shakeology and chicken my weight comes back.. I am trying to figure this out and see what I can do, because honestly I can only tolerate so much chicken... So my first week results was down 2lbs and loss of 4inches overall.. Maybe my scale is just broken... Not sure.. : /   So anyways that is me.. I gained by eating over with weekend so I am almost back to where I was last Monday.. I tell you this weight loss thing is a MAJOR struggle! So yes T25 works, the fast track eating plan works as well. I will post photos after I hit the 30 day mark. I am hoping to see some amazing results.

T25 3 days in...

Okay so as I mentioned I started T25 Monday, I am loving this program so far, my only struggle is day 3 Total Body Circuit, push ups with arm taps suck!!! I have like NO upper body strength. Lucky for me Tania modify's them and it helps me a lot. So far I have been following the nutrion plan, kind of variated to foods I like, and I have lost 3.6lbs in just 3 days! I haven't measured myself at all since day 1 and I won't until Saturday. Today is Ab intervals so that makes me a little nervous because my core is also a weak point but I know I can do it. I love that this program is only 25minutes a day and it seems like the workout flies by! I don't know how I will ever go back to a longer workout! lol..

T25

Hi all! I know its been forever since I blogged. I just got the new program Focus T25, I did a few days of it last week and then decided to do the fast track meal plan this week with it so I restarted it today. I promise to make a good effort to blog daily or a few times a week. So T25 is the new program by Shaun T, its 25minutes a day 5 days a week, actually the 5th day is double day so its 50minutes but still not unmanageable! Today was Cardio, I really enjoy this program because it has a modifier, also its a better pace than Insanity. Similar movements at times but more focused. I think this is a good stepping stone into Insanity and great for any fitness level. I will add my starting stats in a bit. I forgot to grab them. I am also putting video up weekly of my progress on my FB like page.

Halfway done with week 3!

Time is just FLYING by with Insanity so far! I just got my Energy and Endurance in the mail today and with having Pure Cardio to do I got nervous, so I downed it, I wasn't really a fan of the taste. I think it was needing to add more water to the drink, I will try it on Friday. The idea of it is supposed to help you push through your workouts and burn more calories. Normally I am dying half way through Pure Cardio and too tired to continue on. I got through all of it today and then took a short break and jumped into Cardio Abs. I am pretty impressed with it so far. My other thought I recently had is I will not show my photos until the end of the program. I will post about me progress and stats but I will save any and all photos till the end. So we can be shocked and surprised together! I am debating on what my move will be after Insanity, maybe try Brazilian Butt Lift again just for a fun short program. Some of my group members want to try Focus T25 a new program by Shaun T, I am considering it, although it intimidates me as well. But I am also not an Insanity graduate just yet. I will keep you all update on my progress as it moves along!

2 Weeks into Insanity... Making Progress!

I am two weeks done with Insanity, I skipped Friday and Saturday this past week because I did a 5k and after that I am usually SO exhausted just from walking that I cannot do another thing, Friday I was just resting my muscles, I didn't want my calves all sore. Today is my second fit test, I will update with those results this afternoon, I am SO nervous about it! I have no clue why I get myself so worked up, I know I can do it. I know if I need to take a break I can hit the pause button and no one will think badly of me.  My biggest struggle these past two weeks has been getting through the whole workout, I really tire out easily, I think mainly its from my body adjusting to the hard workouts again plus I have read post surgery it takes MONTHS to get back to normal. :(  I have been trying to eat healthy and get lots of rest, I realized I was not eating enough calories when the scale wasn't budging, I kept trying SO hard to not eat poorly and I was averaging too few calories. So this weekend I had a cheat on Friday night and Sat morning the scale dropped. Saturday I tried to behave and yesterday as well, lots of running around this weekend. Oh and yesterday I was sitting down in the afternoon while my little guy napped and my right arm was KILLING me, so I was all trying to flex to see what was up, I have a lil mini muscle! YAY!!! I am getting some muscle now! See I am a dork for my excitment. Hahaha. I also will be adding Energy and Endurance drink to my workouts this week when it arrives, so I am working out to Insanity, drinking Shakeology and will be adding the new supplement.

So time for some stats:

Insanity

So this past Monday I had a I hate this moment for myself. I have been working REALLY hard to get into shape and hit my goal, well last weekend I put on over 2lbs, not a lot to some, but to me it was too much! So I changed directions from Chalean Extreme to Insanity. Last spring my best friend and now coach, told to me to buy it and try it. Well I did like 5 times and wound up hating it, I felt SO out of shape and it was HARD! So life got in the way and then I decided to do Turbo Fire. Now I have completed that done a few little things since and I am back into Insanity. So far I think I am doing MUCH better this time around. Its still hard, I still need to drink LOTS of water and I still get tired out. But I am kind of enjoying it, shhhhh do not tell my friend.. I also jogged/walked my first 5K last weekend the color vibe and I had a blast even though it was FREEZING cold outside.

So I will try to be better about my blogging and do weekly check ins. Monday was my official weigh in so I will post every Monday with my stats.. As I see progress I will post photos too. :)

Shakeology 3 Day Cleanse

So today I start my Shakeology cleanse, this is meant to get rid of the toxins from my body as well as help me curb my cravings. I have done another cleanse before 2 times and I must say its always a struggle for those 2 days I normally have to do it but it is always worth it in the end. I mainly do them only when my weight hits a stalling point, it seems to be just the kick start my body needs usually. This one is MUCH different than my last cleanses though. This one I have my shakeology 3 times a day, and I get a real dinner. Dinner is 4oz of meat(poultry or fish) along with a salad. Also my morning shake I can add fruit to it, and I get fruit for a snack before lunch. So its not a bad trade off in my opinion. The last cleanse I did was these three chocolate drinks for 2 days straight and nothing else aside from room temperature water.. I lost 5lbs with my first and about 3.5lbs with my second. My goal is a 5lb loss with this one but we will see I guess. Also with Shakeology I can still do my workouts because I am still getting the nutrition I need which is VERY nice. So here goes with my starting stats.

A week in.. .

 A week into the new workout routine, no changes so far but I am definitely liking it a lot. My muscles are sore but its a good sore, I like that this is only 5 days a week. The cardio is still rough on me as I recover from surgery but I am hoping it will get easier. My thinking is to add some Brazilian Butt lift workouts just for some more cardio and some fun thrown into my serious weight lifting workouts. 

I have to say I am surprised with how heavy I can go in the Burn Circuit 2 workout for most of the arm things as I don't have as much muscle in my arms. Hopefully I will see some changes by next week with scale and measurements. Keeping up with this will be a challenge but I Am ready for it. I am determined to not skip any workouts with this one.

Day 4 of Chalean

So on April 1st I started Chalean extreme, its mainly weight lifting and muscle building. Day 1 wasn't bad, day 2 was rest, Day 3 was more weight training and I was surprised how some things I could use heavier weights than I expected. Today was cardio, Burn intervals and abs. I had to pause and sit down for a bit during Burn intervals because I got tired out from working so hard. Still it felt good otherwise it alternated weight training, very light weights and it was more for endurance. Then some cardio, the moves were all fairly easy some kick boxing from Turbo Fire. So far no scale or inches lost but I will check again on Monday for my weekly check ins.

Excited

  I am looking forward to my Chalean Extreme! I know I have awhile before I start it but I am dying to work out! I have taken time off before surgery and now I am just bored. My husband restarted Insanity and its making me want to try and workout. I will post new before photos once I am ready to start CLX(just our abbreviation for it) then I will do photos monthly, its a 3 month program.

  So am I the only one who has like horrible eating habits? I am a junk food junky, seriously its horrible! I am also an I'll try anything to lose weight person. I have done so many different things its insane to even think of listing. So since I started my recent journey I did slim fast, it was okay but I was STARVING I mean 2 shakes a day?? I had to train myself to also utilitze the snacks as well during the day. You know eating every 2 hours speeds up your metabolism.. Yeah me either! So with that I lost about 30lbs give or take. I also tried to eat healither. I stopped my nightly ice cream with my husband. Eventually I found out Slim fast isn't very good for you, too much sugar. So I switched to body by vi, I started the Insanity workout like 3 times, longest I lasted was a month. I gave up because we were moving and it was TOO crazy. I also tried doing a 2 day fast through Beachbody, that helped me kick a LOT of my cravings and I wasn't as hungry. So in September we had settled into out new house, my big kid was in school we had a nice routine, I tried Turbo Fire. I fell in instant love. Chalene Johnson is an AWESOME trainer and very motivation, sorry if I am repeating a past post. So anyways I did that, and gave up then in November I hit it hard and started drinking Shakeology I also in there did another fast, by then end of my fast I was CRAVING salads!!! :o Shocker!!  So I have completed Turbo Fire, I have dabbled in Brazilian Butt lift but I am going to go for weight training next. I want to build muscle which will help me lose more weight and faster. I also would like to start running, my goal is to start out by taking walks and then throwing in some running while I am walking. Eventually I will work myself up to running for at least half/ to all of the walk time.
  So on the subject of food and diet, I also have considered doing the ultimate reset through beach body its on sale this month for $50 off. But I keep thinking I want to try it, I guess you basically go vegan for 21 days but you lose weight and gain healthier eating habits which I would still like to improve upon. Turbo Fire Results


I lost 15lbs on Turbo Fire and 15inches overall, I am planning to redo it later on sometime. Also my before weight loss and current photos just so you can see.

Resting

  So I am a week post op and still laying around like the dr says I should. I am bored but I know that if I attempt to overdo it now I will just be laid up longer or in a much worse situation, neither are appealing to me. So far I am keeping weight off and not gaining anything since the surgery and have been in fact losing. I am hoping to start keeping up with this more often so more people can follow me in my journey. My goal is to start doing Chalean Extreme as soon as the dr clears me to work out again, its a 3 month program to help build muscle and that will also increase weight loss. I would love to get all toned up get rid of my yucky arm flab and Chalene is an AWESOME trainer. I will never stop singing her praises, she is my favorite! :)

Almost into my last week

I have enjoyed Turbo Fire a lot. Chalene is a LOT of fun to workout with she is SO motivating and she makes you want to keep pushing through even when you feel like you cannot go on. I had Fire 55EZ today, I have one more week left with Monday being a rest day then I work out Tue- Saturday and then I am DONE! I cannot wait to do my final after pictures. I will be submitting them to get my Turbo Fire tank top! The other great thing about beachbody and their products is when you complete a program they have free shirts! Brazil Butt Lift offers BUM BUM shorts.. Those are next on my agenda to earn. I have a group on Facebook for a 90 day challenge. I would love to get a group together of people who want to all try the same workout and have everyone do that together. It would be such a cool thing to see everyone working together and seeing the results of it. If anyone would be interested in that let me know.

I have a busy weekend ahead with other things going on then I have the recovery week of TF while starting BBL. Hope you all are enjoying my blog so far. I will be posting final results next weekend sometime. Look for them!

Making a plan

So I will be finishing up Turbo fire in 2 weeks!!! I am so excited!! I hate seeing it end but I am happy to officially finish a program the whole way through. My goal is about 4 days before the end I will start Brazilian Butt Lift Master Series, I tried to double up when i first got the BBL dvd a few weeks ago and 90 minutes of workout was pushing it for me. I was EXHAUSTED! I am not ready for all of that just yet. So I figure a few days of overlapping will be fine with me.

I had a lot of fun with BBL when I started it and omg my arms and legs and buns were SORE!!! I am sure this will be an awesome workout for me. I then need to take 6weeks off and I will be going back into it with Hip Hop Abs! I also will be doing my first 5K, I will like walk that but I think it will be a lot of fun and I am looking forward to it. I eventually would like to try the couch to 5k program so I can start getting into running. Fingers are crossed for me to reach my goal by summer!!! I have 5months to lose 28lbs!!! I hope I can do it!! I am going to work REALLY hard to hit that goal.

What are your goals? Don't make resolutions those are easy to give up on. Make a goal and stick to it. Take it baby steps with weight loss and just keep going. I started with okay 5 lbs or get out of the 200's.. Now my goal is to hit 159lbs.. I have 9lbs to go but I am going to try my best! It's the small goals and taking it one day at a time. We all want to wake up and have the weight come off overnight but it never works out that way. Hard work pays off..

Another day down

I am into my 10 th week and I was telling my best friend and coach how I didn't see a change. I mean I know there is a change and I notice it more in my clothing than anywhere else but still sometimes you just don't see it for yourself. Sometimes you just see yourself as you always have and its hard to change the way you look at yourself. This journey is a lot of self reflection, discipline and hard work. I think sometimes we take who we are and how we look for granted. If you see yourself as perfect that is great, but we are always a work in progress, there is always something we need to work on. Not just the outside but who we are inside. Sometimes I feel like I have been working out forever, I cannot wait for a small break from it and changing my routine. I am excited to try a new workout routine and see how I change from that. I want to build muscle and tone myself up some more. I don't want to look like a body builder and most normal women won't if they lift weights we just tone up not bulk up not without enhancement.

I think people see those of us who work out as fanatics and not normal. Coaching for me isn't about sales, its about helping people. I LOVE to help people! I want to show others that they CAN do it. I once thought I was too overweight, and I could never get myself into shape. I thought I would have to do some drastic dieting and boring gym workouts which I do not have time for with 2 children and its expensive! I know a lot of people tell me so is what I am doing, but I would rather pay 1 fee for a workout and have it for whenever I want than spend $100/month for a gym membership where I have to drop the kid off to be watched or work around my husband's schedule to get out of the house. My goal is to buy and look decent in a bikini by summer, big goal I know.. I still struggle with the baby scars of stretch marks, those are still something that I am not completely comfortable with. I know most moms have them, its just hard to get over feeling awkward about them I guess. Is that the right word? We feel awkward?? I am not ashamed of them, I just feel like they are not accepted in society with all these perfect flawless, air brushed models out there. Okay enough of this for today. Workout have fun, eat healthy. Diet is 80%, Exercise is only 20%.

Long time no write....

I know its been awhile, I have since become a Team Beach Body coach and I am hoping to inspire others to end the trend with me. I have worked SO hard, I have had setbacks because I am human and I mess up. I am closing in on a 50lbs weight loss VERY close like 1lb from it. I have 3 weeks left of Turbo Fire and I LOVE it!!! I think my next victim will be Brazilian Butt Lift master series. I am also hoping to do the Ultimate Reset come March sometime. You cannot work out while doing a reset so since I have been ordered 6 weeks of rest after an upcoming surgery I will just use that time to continue to better myself. I am loving Shakeology I use it to replace lunch usually. So today I went to the mall with my mom and I bought a pair of size 8 jeans!!! December 2011 I was wearing size 18!!! I have still 29lbs till my goal weight but I feel confident that I can reach my goal by June if I keep pushing myself. I think after my break I will jump into Hip Hop Abs for something fun and then work into Chalean Extreme to tone up and lose some more weight.
